I love these microwave caddys and have ordered multiple sets for gifts and my own use. Works great for carrying hot bowls of liquids with ease and without bulking pot holders and for warming up two separate items at a time. Using as a splatter shield when it stands on its own legs and does not directly touch bowl or plate being warmed it works great, though I made the mistake of folding legs in and trying to use it more like a lid for a bowl and the steam warped the plastic. Luckily, I bought a few extras and I won't be using it that way again. Another great purchase from an amazing company that I can feel good about giving my business to.
