They list this as a dress but I wear it around the house and also sleep in it. Just personal preference, but I would not wear it out and about. It is so comfortable! It does run large so I ordered down as others had mentioned in reviews. I wear it so often I will order another for when I wear this one out!!! One of my favorite purchases!!!
