Urgent Need: Wildfires and tornadoes swept across the South and Midwest, leaving a trail of destruction
At least 42 people are dead, and countless people and pets are displaced.
Raging wildfires spread across Oklahoma and Texas destroying hundreds of homes and burning over 170,000 acres.
At the same time, dozens of tornadoes tore across several states with 19 reported in Missouri alone. Countless homes have been destroyed, and hundreds of thousands are without power. Animal shelters are overwhelmed with the influx of displaced and injured pets.
Greater Good Charities continues to work with partners in impacted areas to assess the need so that they can assist however necessary. Donate now to provide critical aid.
Greater Good Charities is dedicated to being there when it matters. With the help of our amazing community of donors, they've provided truckloads of supplies, food for both people and animals, medicine, emergency transport for pets, and much-needed funding in the wake of extreme weather events like devastating hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, and dangerous flooding.
They approach disaster response in three complementary ways: thinking ahead and preparing communities for imminent natural disasters, responding during the event by helping on the ground with supplies and relief work, and boosting recovery by directly aiding people and pets and helping to rebuild infrastructure.
We need your help now! In partnership with Greater Good Charities, your support will help us get critical aid to the communities and animals who need it most. Donate now.
