Update: Ebony received the essential surgery and is doing well in recovery. She is on the road to recovery thanks to your support. She will begin physical therapy soon and after that will go on to find a loving home. 

Ebony’s life before her rescue was marked by quiet suffering. Living with an untreated leg injury, she endured constant discomfort without ever knowing relief. Upon her arrival at the shelter, staff rushed her to a veterinary hospital for emergency care.

Veterinarians determined that Ebony will need surgery to repair a damaged knee and relieve pain from a joint issue. Without this critical surgery, her mobility will continue to decline, and simple movements will remain a daily struggle.
