Jenga was surrendered to the shelter with a gunshot wound to her tail that hadn't been cared for in some time, allowing infection to set in.
At the veterinary hospital, doctors confirmed that the only option to relieve Jenga’s pain and protect her health was to amputate her tail. Her surgery is scheduled and she’s currently receiving care to keep the injury site clean and wrapped until the procedure can be completed.
Jenga is on the path to recovery but will need continued care after her operation. Be the missing piece in this sweet cat's story by helping her heal from her injuries.
