Laurence Sanders and Raphael Soeroyo are creative artisans in Bali who seek to create beautiful living spaces, which they want to display through the island's customs along with functional and modern designs.

"We are a duo with an eye and talent for crafting beautiful things to be stylish, creative and unique," Laurie says.

Raphael is a fashion designer who began designing furniture and jewelry, home décor and apparel with Laurie.

"We started out in 2004, producing unique items and designing retail spaces in exclusive hotels around the world," Laurie says. "But our main focus now is creating furniture."

They started out with a workshop in a corner of their garden. Now, they have eight talented craftsmen working with their designs in their studio.

Raphael's experience as the managing director of an ad agency along with Laurie's design background merge both of their artistic and business talents.

"What we produce is most definitely art," Raphael says.
