When Billie, a senior gray wolf, arrived at Wolf Haven International, she found comfort alongside her longtime enclosure-mate, Guy. After Guy passed away, leaving Billie without the companionship wolves naturally seek, her caregivers noticed a change. The curious and bold wolf they knew had grown quieter.
Now, a newly renovated enclosure is ready for Billie and a new companion. On June 30, our partner, Greater Good Charities, will fly gray wolves Nicky and Cerberus to Wolf Haven International in Washington. Nicky will eventually become Billie's new companion, allowing them to spend their years together, happy and safe.
