Dapper Older Gentleman Max Wants To Be Your One And Only
Senior dogs are the best, and in case you need proof - meet Max.
He's described as a "dapper older gentleman" by Animal Care Centers of NYC who is showing him with love after his previous owner surrendered him.
Max has the best leash manners and can teach his new family how to enjoy the little things in life. He loves to curl up with his humans and go for strolls in the park.
The shelter shared that we would be the "perfect picnic partner" who would gladly clean up the crumbs afterwards. He still has so much love to give and who could resist his adorable "salt and pepper" face?!
The sweet fella needs to be your one and only dog, but he loves people and even gets along with cats.

He is currently staying in the adoption's office where he has space to roam around. While he is enjoying all the attention from staff and volunteers, he would love to find a home soon.
Each Wednesday during the month of May, the shelter has lowered the adoption fees of large dogs (over 40 pounds) to just $5. Big dogs are often overlooked for smaller dogs and older big dogs are especially passed by.
Max hopes someone will come and meet him so he can show them what a good boy he is and win their heart with his precious smile.
