Lily arrived at a shelter suffering from severe allergies with inflamed and itchy skin and no interest in playing. She was started on strong medication and special food to help her heal. Her caretakers shared that she has good and bad days as she continues the long road to recovery. 

The five-year-old cat is friendly but on days when she doesn't feel well, she loses all interest in socializing and playing. That is until the shelter received a shipment of donated toys - thanks to your support. 

The sparkle returned to her eyes and a staff member shared Lily's excitement over the new toy, "Lily immediately tossed the toy around, ready to pounce on her next 'catch'. We also placed a circular scratcher in her 'condo,' which she adores, batting around the ball multiple times a day. The constant enrichment from the new toys has made her a happier cat all around."

Lily has been at the shelter for months recovering and still has a ways to go. She is getting all the love and care she needs and now has enrichment toys to play with to raise her spirit and bring out her playful side.
