Sick Cat Abandoned Outside Shelter in Cold Needs Emergency Care
Andrea Powell
April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month to raise awareness about animal abuse and to encourage people to report abuse and adopt from their local shelters. Along with our partner, Greater Good Charities, and your continued support we help countless sick, injured, and abused animals get the emergency medical care they need, like Willow.
She was abandoned outside a shelter in the cold overnight in desperate need of medical care. Shelter staff found her in the pet carrier the following morning and immediately brought her to the vet.

Her eyes are enlarged and she is clearly in pain. Willow is suffering from high blood pressure and kidney problems that have impacted her eyes as well as the rest of her body.
She has been started on pain medication and fluids until she is stable enough for surgery. The sweet cat will need two delicate eye surgeries and ongoing care to recover.

She needs your support. Donate today to help cover her medical care and give her the second chance she deserves.
Abused and neglected animals continue to arrive at shelters and rescue in need of medical care. Read Bond's story here to help another victim of abuse get life-saving care.
