Stray Cat Unable to Put Weight on Hind Leg Receives Emergency Surgery

Update: Your donations help Angelo walk without pain. He is fully recovered and ready to find his forever home. According to the rescue, "Throughout his healing journey he was such a lovely patient and handled his cage rest really well. It was a long 8 weeks but he got through it. Now he’s a happy camper with the freedom to run around and play pain free."

Meet Angelo.
The stray one-year-old cat was found limping on the streets of Pennsylvania. He was unable to bear weight on his hind leg and clearly in pain.
Cat Tales, a local rescue, rushed him to an animal clinic where he was examined and an X-ray confirmed he has a fractured femur.

The only way to save his leg and give him the chance to walk and run again is with emergency surgery.
Will you help him heal?
Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund is assisting with his medical bills but needs your continued support. The fund was started to save lives of animals like Angelo and give them the second chance they deserve.

The operation will align the broken bone and hold it together with a plate and screws. He will need to be on crate rest for eight weeks to allow his leg to fully heal.

Despite all Angelo has been through, he remains a sweet and friendly feline. Help us raise $8,000 for Angelo and animals like him.
