Malnourished Stray Dog Infested with Parasites Makes Full Recovery Thanks to Your Support

Update:
Bush's caretakers shared, “After spending a full month in the vet clinic, he is now unrecognizable. He has gained weight, his hair has grown and he is full of life.” Thank you for your support, which is saving lives.

Greece has one of the largest stray animal populations in the world with many in need of medical care, like Bush.
The stray dog found a kind family at a refugee camp that did their best to feed and care for him but couldn't afford veterinary care.

Animal Action Greece came to Bush's rescue and the family was relieved that help had finally arrived.
Bush arrived in critical condition with his frail body barely hanging on. He is severely malnourished and infested with parasites.
He is suffering from mange, anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis (tick-borne bacterial infections) and leishmaniasis. He has a long and expensive road of recovery ahead and needs your help.

Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with Bush's medical bills with your continued support. The fund helps save lives by covering the cost of emergency medical care and ongoing treatment.
People at the refugee camp are worried about their furry friend and hope that he makes a full recovery.
More Help is Needed
Sadly, there are countless more stray dogs and cats who are struggling to survive and need our support. Join us in helping to feed, care, and reduce the stray population with spay and neuter. Together, we CAN change the world.
