Neglected Dog Struggling to Walk Due to Years of Confinement Needs Your Help

Meet Dazy.

The seven-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever spent her entire life confined to a small pen and used to produce litter after litter of puppies for a backyard breeder. When they were done using her, they dropped her off at the shelter.

The years of confinement and limited mobility have taken a toll on Dazy's body. Staff noticed that walking was extremely difficult and painful for the older dog.

Both ACLs in her hind legs are torn, and she needs extensive surgery and months of physical therapy to have a fighting chance to walk comfortably again.

Help Dazy put her painful past behind her by donating towards her care.

Dazy remains a sweet and loving dog despite all the pain and suffering she has endured. Her caretakers shared that she enjoys hugs and scratches and just wants to be by your side.

Help her take her first steps to a pain-free life. Greater Good Charities Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with her medical bills but needs your support.

The fund was created to give dogs like Dazy the second chance they deserve. Together we can save lives.

Help us meet our goal of $10,000 for Dazy. Your gift will not only give her the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover her ongoing care.

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
