Meet Rusty. 

This little Chihuahua is a survivor. He was found in critical condition and unable to lift his head after a brutal animal attack.

The massive gash on his neck was infected with maggots, and he was barely hanging on. He was rushed to an animal hospital where the medical team determined he needed emergency surgery to survive. 

Despite his heart murmur, they proceeded with surgery to save his life. He survived the surgery; however, he is not out of the woods yet.

While his wound was sutured, a severe abdominal hernia was found that will need surgery to repair. 

Rusty needs your support to pull through and get the second chance he deserves. This poor fella has been through a lot but remains friendly with his caretakers.
