Seeing-Eye Cat for Blind Brother Needs Urgent Care for Painful Eye Condition
Andrea Powell
James was just a tiny, vulnerable kitten when he and his blind brother, William, were abandoned on the street. The four-week-old kittens were found by a kind person who brought them to the local shelter.
James was also born with one blind eye but uses his one good eye to help his blind brother get around. The inseparable pair cling to each other for security.

The brothers were taken in by a loving foster and continued to grow, but so did the pain in James' blind eye. He needed urgent care.
After careful examination, the vet decided the best course of action to reduce the pain and prevent further complications was to remove the eye.

James underwent surgery and is in recovery. He will need your support to help cover his medical bills and ongoing care to help him return to his brother as soon as possible.
Animal shelters do their best to feed and care for all the homeless animals but are unable to afford emergency medical bills on their limited budgets. That is where your donations help save lives.

Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund helps cover the medical bills and ongoing care for sick and injured animals and gives them the second chance they deserve to find a loving home.
Donate today to help James heal and go on to find a forever home alongside his brother. Despite all the pain and suffering, James and William are playful and loving felines who just want to find a family of their own. Help make their dreams come true.
