No one knows how this senior dog called Glory ended up on the streets of Oklahoma, but she was barely hanging on when rescuers found her.

Her emaciated body was curled in a ball attempting to stay warm, and her sad eyes revealed the hard life she has lived.

Humans had let her down before, but that ends now. She was rushed to a veterinary clinic where she was diagnosed with heartworm disease, heart disease, and Pyometra - all life threatening if left untreated. 

The most serious and urgent was Pyometra - a dangerous uterine infection that can quickly become fatal without treatment. She needed emergency surgery, which rescuers were unsure if she would survive. But she did. 

Glory is a fighter- but she still has more battles to win. She will need heartworm treatment, ongoing medication for heart disease, and lots of nutritious food to regain her strength. She deserves to live the rest of her life in a loving home on a sofa soaking up the sun.
