In a cemetery near the frontlines is where a sick German shepherd was left to die. Starving, weak, and desperately ill, he had every reason to give up - but somehow, he kept holding on. 

He refused to let go of life. Each day he fought to stay alive and kept hoping that someone would rescue him. 

Krystina and her rescue team found him just in time. They were devastated when they saw his emaciated body convulsing repeatedly making it impossible for him to stand or move. 

They feared the worst, but couldn't leave him to suffer. He used all his strength to lift his head toward the hand of a rescuer to show just how sweet and loving he is despite all the pain. 

His sad eyes told the tale of his suffering but there was also hope in those same eyes. The young dog was carefully carried out of the cemetery and rushed to a clinic for care.

The seizures caused from a brain disorder called epilepsy continued at the clinic. He will need emergency care for his malnourished body, anti-seizure medication, and ongoing care to heal.
