Senior dogs have so much love to give, but sadly numerous end up in shelters. Some arrive after their owners pass away, while others arrive malnourished and severely neglected, like Wally.

The 12-year-old mastiff is literally skin and bones, can barely stand, and suffering from kennel cough. His sad eyes tell his heartbreaking tale of a life without food, care, and love.

Twenty Paws Rescue rescued Wally from a local shelter and discovered how awful his condition really was. He was unable to walk and in dire need of medical care.

Since arriving at the rescue, Wally has been to the vet many times due to malnutrition and needs your support to recover. There have been emergency visits when Wally refused to eat and his breathing became labored.

He is exhausted - but refuses to give up. His caretakers are determined to save him but need help covering his medical care.

Wally is anemic, emaciated, and has a long road to recovery. His recovery will involve treatment for kennel cough, a refeeding program, and a lot of devoted care.
