Meet Tim

The three-year-old bulldog mix arrived at Second Chance Animal Services in desperate need of medical care. He was severely malnourished and suffering from a skin infection and Lyme disease.

Staff also noticed that he was not bearing weight on one of his hind legs. X-rays revealed that Tim has a torn cranial cruciate ligament and needs Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery to relieve the pain.

Despite all the pain and suffering he has endured - he remains a sweet and happy pup.

His body is too weak and must heal from his other ailments before surgery. He needs your help to get the treatment he needs to regain his strength to have surgery.

With surgery, he will be able to live an active and full life without pain. The rescue told us, "With his goofy personality we are confident that he will be adopted quickly once we complete his medical care."

Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with his medical expenses but needs your continued support. The fund saves lives by providing emergency surgery and medical care to sick and injured animals.

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
