Cats are curious by nature and love tight and warm spaces, which often leads to them getting themselves into dangerous situations.

How many times have you heard about a cat getting stuck in a tree, inside furniture, on rafters? Let's be honest, the list could go on and on.

Berlin Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call about a cat trapped on the roof of a home. The owner shared that the cat must have escaped through an open skylight and was found on the ledge of the roof, unsure how to get down.

Firefighters arrived and used a ladder to safely retrieve the cat and reunite her with her owner.

She is safely back indoors, probably plotting her next adventure. If you are a cat parent, you know what I mean.

The firefighters were praised for helping the feline in the comments on their Facebook post, while others wondered how she managed to get up to the skylight in the first place.

Just another of life's mysteries...
