Emaciated Cat with Traumatic Head Wound Experiences Love in Her Final Days
Andrea Powell
Ms. Willow was found by a gentleman in grave condition. She was emaciated and had a large, infected wound on her head.
He immediately called Dolly's Cat Sanctuary and Rescue for help and told them, "When she looks into my eyes she tells me she wants to live."
The sweet feline was rushed to a local vet who started her on IV antibiotics and fluids and started to treat her severe head wound.

She spent several days at the vet before going to a loving foster home. Due to her severe congestion, it was hard for her to eat, and she was very picky about her food.

Your donations helped provide the soft food she needed and would attempt to eat. Willow's foster mom showered her with love and took amazing care of her.
Willow was in bad shape, and she was fighting as hard as she could to survive. If love would have been enough, she would have healed completely.

Sadly, Willow passed away. Her foster mom and rescuers are devastated and posted, "Willow came to us as one of the sweetest cats to cross into Dolly’s and remained the same sweet girl as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge and into the Eternal Meadow. I'm sure Willow would have said, 'I'm out of troubles now. Thank you for loving me.'"
