Malnourished Dogs Found Huddling Together on Side of Road Are Now Thriving Thanks to Your Donations

Your donations are changing the lives of abandoned dogs like Echo and Doppler.

The brindled pups were found malnourished and huddling together to stay warm on the side of the road. Humans had not always been kind to them, so they were leery of rescuers from Rocky Spot Rescue.

The rescuers recalled, "The wind was sharp that evening, the kind that cut straight through fur and bone. Their eyes darted between passing cars, their fragile bodies weak with hunger."

After a lot of patience and reassurance, the dogs were captured and brought back to the rescue to begin their long journey of healing.

Their recovery involved healing physically and emotionally. Your generous donations provided the nutritious food they needed to regain their strength, and the tasty treats were used to help restore their faith in humans.

Echo and Doppler are doing well and are ready to find loving homes. They are now playful dogs who seek out the attention of kind humans. The rescue, dogs, and all involved in their care send their thanks for your donations.

The rescue shared, "Proper nutrition didn’t just fill their bellies—it gave them the chance to heal inside and out. Now, as they have settled into the warmth of the rescue, their eyes shine with hope. They have grown stronger, braver, and more eager to connect with the humans who show them kindness."

These dogs will never go hungry again and will get the second chance they deserve, thanks to your support.

Help us feed more hungry shelter animals by donating here.

Your daily action on The Animal Rescue Site are also helping feed shelter animals across the country.

Every time you click, play trivia, and shop, you are helping feed shelter pets. These actions take a few minutes each day but have a huge impact in the lives of homeless dogs and cats.

Animal shelters are overcrowded and rely on donations to feed all the animals in their care. We want to thank you for taking the time to help animals daily.
