Your generous donations are enhancing the lives of rescued animals.
A severely matted and malnourished Maltese mix dog was rescued from a hoarding case along with several cats.
The dog is estimated to be between two and six years old. He has never eaten dog food and was being fed cat food that he shared with the other felines in the home.

He is suffering from dental issues that are finally being addressed by Friends of Metro Animal Shelters who took him in.
He is being called "Boy" and his foster shared, "In spite of his previous circumstances, Boy is a sweetheart of a dog."
After a much-needed grooming session, Boy arrived at his new foster home where he received a gift to help him acclimate to his new space.

Thanks to your donations, Boy was provided with a spaceship bed that became his safe space and allowed him to decompress.
The little guy now greets everyone with a wagging tail and loves to explore his new surroundings. However, when he gets tired or just needs a break from all the commotion in the home he heads to his "little cave", as his foster family calls it.

Your donations are making a real difference in the lives of animals. Boy is just one of many who are taking comfort in donated pet beds.
The rescue told us, "Special donations like these help to ensure a comfortable and easier acclimation to their new circumstance. When Boy is adopted, he will get to take his little cave with him!"
