Tens of thousands of homeless animals are roaming the war-torn streets of Ukraine. Some have been strays their whole lives, while others were abandoned or lost their home due to the war. 

Lala and Krystina are determined to save as many as possible and find them loving and safe homes. They return to destroyed villages in search of animals and respond to calls for help for animals in need. 

During one rescue mission, Lala witnessed something she hadn't seen before. A large white dog who appears to be a Labrador mix walked up to her rescue van and then proceeded to hop inside.

The smart dog named Boomer wasn't going to wait for someone to rescue him. He appears to be in good health and is just looking for someone to love. 

Lala shared a video of him and said she doesn't know his story, but only happy days are ahead. Watch it below. 

She hopes that if his family is looking for him that she can reunite them, but if no one comes forward for him he will find a new family.
