Seven-year-old Peanut has been patiently waiting at Humane Society Broward County for a long time for someone to pick her.

She is a sweet pup who loves making new friends, so staff and volunteers don't understand why she hasn't found a loving home.

Peanut has decided to take matters into her own paws. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a toy in her mouth.

The shelter shared an adorable video of Peanut showing off her playful side in hopes of stealing the heart of an adopter. They wrote, "7-year-old Peanut is having trouble getting adopted because of her age. So now she waits at the kennel glass with a toy in her mouth as adopters pass by, hoping someone will notice her. She is loving and playful."

Peanut always has a toy in her mouth or nearby, including when she sleeps. Please share her story to help her find a forever home. She has so much love to give and adores both kids and adults.

Her caretakers state, "Transferred from another shelter, her past is a bit of a mystery, but it’s clear she’s been through a lot. Despite it all, she’s remained silly, sweet, and full of love. Peanut would bring endless laughter and comfort to a lucky family."

Her adoption fee has been covered and she is ready to find her special someone. Learn more about Peanut here and don't forget to share.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
