Kittens Found Trying to Nurse from Deceased Mother Are Getting Formula They Need, Thanks to You
Andrea Powell
Animal shelters and rescues are overwhelmed by the number of orphaned and sick kittens arriving in need of formula and care. It happens every year and is known as kitten season.
Thanks to your generous donations, kittens like Emma and Lacey are being saved.
These poor kittens were found still trying to nurse from their mother who was hit and killed in traffic. They were the only kittens to survive and needed immediate and constant care.

Watonga Community Cat Foundation took the kittens in and immediately started them on formula, which your donations helped provide.
They shared, "Shelters in our area are rarely equipped to handle bottle babies, so they find themselves in danger of euthanasia if a rescue is unable to step up for them. Fortunately, we were able to take Emma and Lacey into our care. They were weaned within 2 weeks of their arrival thanks in large part to the donated Royal Canin Mother and Babycat Food."

Emma and Lacey are now thriving thanks to your support and continue to grow each day. They will get a second chance at life. Your donations are also supporting the other 42 kittens under 3 months old at the rescue.
The grateful staff said, "Our rescue is volunteer-run and relies on donations to provide supplies and vet care for all our cats. It is challenging to afford kitten food for the number of young lives that are depending on us. We cannot thank you enough."

Kitten season is far from over. Join us in feeding more orphaned kittens and puppies by donating life-saving formula here.
