Our Clear the Shelters Flight to Freedom saved 54 dogs and 6 cats from overcrowded shelters in the South. They were flown to Wisconsin where volunteers and staff from receiving shelters greeted them.

With wagging tails, they entered their new shelters and prepared to meet adopters. Do you remember the sweet mama dog, Lavender? The 2.5-year-old collie mix, and her nine puppies got a second chance thanks to your support. 

They boarded the flight and arrived in Wisconsin where Lavender was quickly adopted by a loving family. Her new shelter shared the good news with us. Her new family changed her name to "Mabel Mae" and said she is doing well. 

For possibly the first time in her life, she gets to nap on a soft bed and play with toys. Her favorite things are cuddling and going for walks. She has already formed a close bond with her 10-year-old human sibling and sleeps in her bed at night. 

She is living the life she deserves thanks to one flight that changed her life. There are thousands of dogs in overcrowded shelters waiting and hoping for someone to come rescue them.
