121 Homeless Dogs and Cats Land In Wisconsin For A New Lease On Life

Harriet, Sophia, Mama Gamora, and dozens more have safely landed in Wisconsin. These lucky mamas were part of the 47 homeless dogs and 74 cats that flew out of overcrowded Louisiana shelters on our Mother's Day Flight to Freedom.

Many were at-risk due to lack of space in shelters but are now getting the second chance they deserve.

They were loaded onto the flight in the early morning hours of May 15 and were greeted by friendly faces when they arrived in the Midwest.

The sweet dogs and cats were transported back to shelters and are getting ready to find forever homes.

Animal shelters in the South are overcrowded with adoptable pets but they are struggling to find fosters and adopters. That is why we have partnered with Greater Good Charities to fly shelter pets out of these shelters and to shelters with open kennels and adopters waiting to meet them.
