Kids and dogs are not the only ones who go wild over ball pits. Peak Wildlife Park, a zoo in central England, provides objects to engage the mind and body of their residents. 

Otters are playful, agile, skillful, and absolutely adorable. The staff brought in crates of blue and white balls and recorded what happened next. 

The curious otters approached and quickly grabbed the balls and started to play. Rolling on their backs while keeping the ball between their front paws. They even headed into the water with the balls, never letting their new toy out of sight. 

Their tough paw pads and retractable claws help them grip items, but they can also result in damaging the plastic balls as was seen at the end of the video.

Otters are resourceful and use their front paws for more than hand holding. They are often seen using rocks as hammers to open hard shellfish. When they find a favorite rock, they will even store it in their pouch under their forearms for future use.
