WARNING: Graphic images

Dogs are members of the family that just want to be by our side. Sadly, some dogs are still kept outside. They are tethered to a chain and have only a small area to walk around. It is a sad and lonely life that Adonis knows too well.

This one-year-old bully breed was surrendered to a local Alabama shelter in pain from a severely embedded collar. The sweet boy was not properly cared for and needed the collar removed immediately.

Save A Pet rushed him to a vet who sedated him and carefully removed the tight collar. The damage left behind is heartbreaking. It will take months for Adonis to heal, and he needs our support.

The rescue asked Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund for help with his medical bills. This fund is able to help dogs like Adonis thanks to your continued support.

Even though Adonis has been mistreated in the past, the rescue shared that he loves everyone he meets, and they are sure he will quickly find a home once he recovers.

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
