Christmas Trees With Photos Of Pets Who Have Passed Away Discovered Along Trail In Canada
Pet owners in Canada are honoring their beloved dogs and cats that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge in an inspiring and touching way.
Hiker, Courtney Carson, was strolling along the 4.6-mile Mosquito Creek Trail near North Vancouver, British Columbia, when she discovered a pine tree with photos of dogs and cats hanging on it.
She posted a video on TikTok of the tree and wrote, "went for a walk and found a Christmas tree dedicated to people's pets that have passed."

The tribute photos and comments were all in plastic covers to protect them from the elements. One read, "See you on the next level my angel", for a dog named Russel.
Tears really started to flow for many when they saw the rubber chicken dog toy hanging alongside a photo of the pup who had passed.
"The dog with his chicken toy got me good," wrote @honey_lemon_tae.
The video has been viewed by thousands who have cried at the touching gesture. Many shared virtual tributes to their pets that have passed, and others said more areas should do something like this.
This memorial has been in place for over a decade, according to CBC News who covered the story twelve years ago. Apparently, it started out as a few ornaments on a tree and has expanded to several trees with tributes to pets along the popular trail.

The holidays can be a joyful time but also a time to remember those who are no longer with us. Pets bring so much joy to our lives and saying goodbye is one of the hardest things we must do in life.
The memories of these pets live on. Life with our furry friends is too short. Feel free to share your virtual tribute to your pet in the comments.
