Our heroes, Krystina and Lala, continue to risk their lives to save animals from the frontlines. These inspiring women caught the attention of a reporter named Anatoliy who came along on one of the rescue missions.

The man witnessed the destruction, danger as bombs went off nearby that forced them to take cover, and all the innocent animals left behind.

It changed him forever.

Two dogs were rescued from a property near the frontline. Their tails never stopped wagging as help had finally arrived. Leaving the area was just as dangerous, but they managed to escape with the grateful pups.

On the ride back to the shelter, the reporter spent time with the rescued dogs who quickly stole his heart.

Despite all the pain, fear, and suffering, they remain sweet and friendly dogs. Anatoliy had another assignment in Donbas, and the dogs were taken to a clinic for medical care and evaluation.

Their story doesn't end there. As soon as Anatoliy returned, he headed straight to the clinic to pick up the dogs he couldn't live without. The dogs are finally safe in a loving home together.
