Russian Missiles Hit Ukrainian Homes with Children and Dogs Inside
Andrea Powell
Ukrainian homes are being destroyed by the relentless Russian attacks, including ones that are still occupied by families and pets.
Missiles are raining down day and night across Ukraine. A recent attack left a home in a pile of rubble. The humans evacuated but the dogs remained in the home. They were trapped under the rubble when rescuers from Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund (UWARF) arrived.
One of the rescuers named Krystina carefully moved the debris to rescue the dogs and get them to a safe location. Check out the video below.
They will get the care they need before being put up for adoption.
UWARF was called to another heartbreaking rescue mission involving children and eleven dogs in a destroyed home in Dobropíllí, Ukraine.

Rescuers shared, "Inside were a mother, two children, 4 adult dogs and 7 puppies. Some of the dogs belonged to the family, the others they were taking care of for neighbors who evacuated the region.
The attacks on Ukraine are only increasing in frequency and intensity. Countless animals need to be rescued near the frontlines. Join us in helping save their lives by donating here.
We want to thank the brave people like Krystina and her team who risk their lives daily to save animals.
