A terrified dog was found in a place where hope had long since run out. He was discovered by Ukrainian soldiers in a filthy cage near the frontlines.

Left behind in the chaos without proper food, water, or care. He lost everything, including his trust in mankind.

Soldiers refused to leave him behind and contacted Krystina at Under the Sun Shelter to help. She agreed to take the mildly aggressive and scared dog in and help him heal physically and mentally.

After months of intense care and training, his trust has been restored as well as his playful personality.

Krystina made him a promise when she took him in that he was finally safe and would someday find a loving home.

Well, that day has come. With happy tears in her eyes, Krystina loaded up the dog into her car and started the twelve-hour journey to deliver him to his new family.

The sweet dog is hopeful once again and wagged his tail in anticipation of his new life.

Promise fulfilled. He will finally get to experience the joy and love he deserves with a family who will cherish him.
