Amid all the devastation, a brave woman emerges from this battered city to help animals and those caring for animals. She is another hero in Ukraine that we want to share with you.

This courageous woman takes in dogs and cats rescued by soldiers on the frontlines and finds shelters or caretakers in other parts of Ukraine to care for them.

She also distributes pet food - provided thanks to your donations - to local volunteers and "grannies" who care for abandoned animals.

Your donations are making a HUGE difference to rescued animals in Ukraine. The homeless dogs and cats have full bellies and are beyond grateful for your support, and so are their caretakers.

However, pet food is once again running dangerously low as the donated goods are quickly consumed by the hungry animals. Join us in providing more food to the cats and dogs in Ukraine by donating here
