Bombs continue to rain down on Ukrainian villages with many innocent animals caught in the crossfire.

Thankfully, there are courageous individuals who risk their lives to save animals from the frontlines and get them to safety.

Gina was rescued from a village under constant attack and brought to the Patron Pet Center. They told us, "Gina, like most of the animals at Patron Pet Center, was rescued from hell."

The sweet dog was examined and the medical team found that she had an untreated injury that caused her to limp. She has a dislocated knee joint, but surgery is not required. 

Her friendly demeanor won the hearts of employees at the center. They recall, "It was impossible to pass by the box without saying hello to this red sun." 

Gina quickly found a new home, but it was not a good fit. After all that she has been through, she does not do well when left alone. Her first family traveled for business and the extended alone time took a toll on her. 

She returned to the center to find a forever home. It didn't take long for Gina to meet her person. During a charity training at the center, her new mom, Ksenia, instantly fell in love with Gina. 

The two are always together and Gina is loved beyond measure. We hope they all find loving homes like Gina.
