Warrior Princess Xena Is Looking For Someone To Love

Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control has their very own warrior princess named Xena who hopes to capture the heart of a loving family.

The adorable pit bull mix is a little slow to open up but once she does, she is a complete lovebug.

The shelter shared, "Xena likes to take things slow, on walks and around new people. Once you earn Xena's trust, she has lots of love to share with you. Going for walks with Xena means a few breaks for pets and snuggles."

Just like her namesake, she makes the world a better place - but does so with her love and affection. She will wash all your worries away with her tail wags and snuggles and just asks that you love her unconditionally.

The sweet princess continues to meet new people and has even met some dogs, which she sees as friends, and would love to continue to explore the world with a trusting partner. Are you her person?

"Xena is starting to get to know some of the other dogs in our care, making friends as she does it. If you think Xena belongs in your home, come meet her today! We are open from noon to 4pm and would love to introduce you," posted the shelter.

Xena is always looking out for others and encourages everyone to adopt. She wants to share the spotlight with Venus to help her find a loving home, too.

Venus is her name and playing is her game. This energetic pup needs an active partner who also enjoys cuddling after a long day of playing.

"Venus is as cute as they come, and offers plenty of snuggles, too. Walks with her are a ton of fun, and might occasionally include a stop to roll around in the grass! Her big, beautiful eyes are sure to draw you in, and her big heart will keep you around for years to come."

Be sure to follow the Nashville shelter on Facebook to see more adoptable pets and how you can help.
