Update: Kuzia underwent surgery to remove his ruptured eye and is feeling a lot better. The shelter told us, "Kuzia was calm and brave through everything — he never lost trust in people. Now Kuzia is safe and under our care. He’s going through rehabilitation, getting injections, care, and rest."

A young cat was struggling to survive on the streets of war-torn Ukraine with life-threatening injuries and several health issues. 

Kuzia was found alone on the street with blood oozing from his eye and was rushed to a local animal clinic. 

The poor feline was in a lot of pain and was immediately started on pain medication as the medical team examined him. 

His eye is ruptured and beyond repair. He will need surgery to remove the eye once his health improves. He is in critical condition suffering from kidney disease, ulcers, and advanced dental disease.

Kuzia is just three years old and deserves a second chance at life. He needs your support to survive and thrive.
