10 Ukrainian Pets Rescued From The Frontlines That Need Your Help

Injured, abandoned, and homeless animals continue to arrive at shelters across Ukraine due to the ongoing war. Cats and dogs of all ages are caught in the crossfire and need our help.

With your support, we have provided pet food, warm blankets, dog kennels, and medical support to shelter animals in Ukraine. However, the need for pet food and support is greater than ever.

As the frontline moves, more pets are in danger and brave volunteers are risking their lives to evacuate them from various regions of Ukraine. Villages are being heavily bombed where abandoned pets are found wandering the streets looking for food and shelter.

Animal shelters already struggling to feed all the animals in their care are taking in more evacuated pets and need our help to feed and care for them.

Meet ten animals evacuated from the frontlines that are waiting for your support.

Petty

Petty is one of the dogs evacuated out of the war zone. Rescuers found her roaming the streets in a grave condition. Some monster had shot her in the face, severely injuring her mouth.

Petty was brought to the Oksana Shelter where she is being nursed back to health by selfless staff who are currently caring for 34 disabled dogs. Help her heal.

Dakota

Dakota was also evacuated to the same shelter. Rescuers found her with four broken paws unable to walk. She was hit by a vehicle and left to suffer.

She is getting the care she needs at Oksana Shelter but her road to recovery will be long. Help her get the care she needs.

Roy

Roy was another dog taken to the shelter. Rescuers found the senior dog unable to move in a dangerous area.

Roy is recovering at the Oksana Shelter from malnutrition. The dedicated staff is making sure he is comfortable and getting all the food and care he needs to heal. Donate towards his care here.

Lion

Lion was rescued by the military. He had clearly been living as a stray for some time. This poor boy was suffering from gingivitis, matted fur and severe flea dermatitis. He was given antibiotics to treat his inflamed gums and topical treatments to treat his allergic reaction to the flea bites.

Lyusya

Lyusya joins the group of dogs evacuated to Odessa. Rescuers found the sick little dog roaming the war-torn streets.

The sweet pup has cancer and is undergoing treatment at the Oksana Shelter in Odessa. Help her get the care she needs.

Elliot

Elliot was found cowering in what remained of a destroyed building. The area continues to be heavily bombed. Rescuers managed to capture the frightened dog and bring him back to the Oksana Shelter in Odessa.

Elliot arrived malnourished and in need of a quiet place to rest. He is being cared for by selfless staff who are also caring for 50 other homeless dogs. He needs your help to regain his strength.

Lesya & Puppies

Lesya and her puppies were rescued by military members. They were found in a heavily bombed area looking for shelter. The worried mom kept close to her rescuer as her puppies were carried in a cardboard box to safety.

When the family arrived at the Patron Pet Center, they received nutritious food and a quiet place to rest. Some of the puppies have bacterial infections and all are suffering from malnutrition. Join us in helping them to heal and find loving homes.

Smiles

Smiles was found on the streets of Odessa with a horrific wound to his face. His mouth was deformed, and he needed emergency surgery.

The sweet pup was brought to Patron Pet Center where he underwent surgery and is being nursed back to health. Help him regain his strength so he can find a forever home.

Klin

Klin is one of 20 pets evacuated from a village that is being bombed daily. The malnourished cat was found by rescuers roaming the dangerous streets. She is slowly starting to regain her strength but still has a long way to go. Help her get the care she needs.

Boy

Boy is one of the dogs evacuated to Odessa from the frontline. Rescuers found Boy with both of his front legs broken on the war-torn streets. He was in excruciating pain and rushed back to the Oksana Shelter in Odessa.

He is receiving the care and medication he needs. His road to recovery will be long, but the dedicated staff will ensure he gets everything he needs to heal. Help cover his medical expenses by donating here.
