Headed For Furever is a foster based 501c3 rescue located in Rochester NY. We primarily care for cats, however occasionally rescue dogs as well. Our mission is to provide complete veterinary care from basic to complex medical care prior to searching for furever homes. All of the cats and dogs in our care recieve spay/neuter, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccines, combo/heartworm testing, flea treatment, deworming, and microchip.Along with friendly cats we also participate heavily in TNVR (Trap, Neuter/spay, Vaccinate, Release) of our community feral cats! We strongly believe that our #1 priority is to spay/neuter as many as possible to stop the reproduction of this already overpopulated environment. Over 90% of our intakes are semi-feral kittens from the outdoors that we socialize and adopt into loving homes. It is our rescue standard that we spay mom as well as any unaltered pets in the colony or home our kittens come from. Our rescue motto is "It made a difference for that one...".
