Young-Williams Animal Center is the official shelter for the City of Knoxville and Knox County, with an annual intake of about 10,000 animals. Our mission is to lead the community to end pet homelessness, promote animal welfare, and enhance the human-animal bond. We are leading the way in life-saving with programs like low cost spay/neuter, focused behavior and enrichment solutions, and our Pet Resource Center dedicated to keeping pets with their families during times of hardship.
