Severely Burned Kitten Found in LA Wildfires Struggling to Walk Needs Your Help
Hundreds of lost and injured animals have arrived at Pasadena Humane and many need emergency medical care due to the Eaton Fire. Greater Good Charities is helping to fund the medical care of these poor animals but needs your support.
One of the badly burned animals to recently arrive at the shelter is a four-month-old kitten who we are calling “Angel”.
We gave her that name because it is a miracle she survived the raging wildfire.
This lost or stray kitten was found by the Pasadena Fire Department in a scorched area in Altadena. Pasadena Humane's Animal Control Officer rushed to the station to pick up the severely burned kitten.
The shelter shared, “Her fur was singed and covered in ash, and her tiny body was covered in burns. When she was found, the burns on her face were so bad that she couldn’t open her eyes or smell. She was struggling to walk due to her singed paw pads.”
The medical team wasted no time in administrating pain medication and treating her burns. Every part of her body was scorched by the intense flames, and she has a long road of recovery ahead. She needs your support.
Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund provides grants to animals in life-threatening situations and saves lives.
The shelter is unsure if this little feline has a family looking for her, so for now they are her family.
They said, “We’re doing all we can to help this sweet kitten, but she’s not out of the woods yet.”
Donate now to give "Angel" a fighting chance and help other injured animals get the care they need to heal.
